Full-Time, 40 hours per weekAs the Administrative Assistant, Operations, you “Take Care of Banff” by providing traditional administrative support to departments in the Operations division. You are the first point of contact for our stakeholders and respond promptly to any and all questions with confidence and enthusiasm.If you enjoy working with data, records and a bit of history, then this position is right up your alley. You can take technical jargon and translate it for the layperson as effectively as translating the layperson’s needs into the appropriate software solution. You have the unique talent of a combined numbers-orientation with a people-focus. You are curious about cemetery management, digitizing interment records and are comfortable assisting families in navigating complex information to make final arrangements for their loved ones.You thrive in an active work environment where people are coming and going throughout the day. You can maintain concentration, accuracy and productivity and are not easily distracted by noise, movement or interruptions (in person, over the phone and electronic).You excel at coordinating concurrent demands so that “your clients” receive the attention and service they expect. You effectively blend detail-focussed duties with interactions and camaraderie and adapt easily to changing priorities, schedules and internal or external needs. You are a sponge for knowledge and enjoy the learning associated with cross-functional roles.Your cover letter and resume should indicate how you are a perfect fit for this position, while confirming your technical qualifications in office administration. Your resume should also demonstrate two years’ work experience in an administrative or office environment or a combination of the required qualifications and work experience. Your experience has honed impeccable interpersonal and communication skills and are able to interact effectively with customers demonstrating varying emotions. You are proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) and are familiar with web-based data tracking software solutions.
