Job Description

What will you do in this job:
  • Maintain and contribute to a safe and healthy workplace while enforcing all safety procedures
  • As assigned by the Operations Manager, inspects, services, maintains and operates the lift and facilities in a safe condition
  • Supervises front line operations employees and apprentices
  • Ensures that all department operations are properly executed, and all Banff Gondola safety and operational policies and procedures are followed
  • Ensures that each guest interaction is friendly and professional
  • Carries out duties as assigned by Operations Manager
  • Contributes to the overall cleanliness of all gondola facilities particularly in the operations department areas
  • Produces the following reports: daily maintenance check sheets, weekly task report, and up to date maintenance records
What skills and experience do you need for this job:
  • Journeyman status or equivalent
  • Proven history of safe work practices
  • Proven supervisory experience
  • Lift operations and lift maintenance experience an asset
  • Computer knowledge and experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to take direction under stressful conditions
  • Class 5 driver’s license
  • First Aid training an asset
