Job Description

SEASONAL POSITION until October 15 BARISTA / CASHIER JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Welcome customers, anticipate needs, inform and accept orders and payments.
  • Prepare coffee, tea, milkshakes, ice cream cones and sell snacks and drinks.
  • Cleaning and restocking work stations, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
  • Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
  • Maintains inventories by replenishing supply; stocking equipment.
  • Be alert, helpful and have a sense of prioritization.
  • Maintain cleaning standards for the cafe and the market. Regularly take garbage out, clean all equipment, sanitize surfaces, dust furniture and others.
  • Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
  • Price tagging, inventory management with the Gift Shop.
  • Process transactions on POS machines, perform cash outs at close.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
