Job Description

What you will be doing:
  • Maintaining good working relationships with all departments
  • Ensuring that the equipment and general work area is maintained to a high standard, including desks, filing cabinets and stationery supplies
  • Conducting follow up preparation of information concerning all catering and conference related functions for hotel staff (preparation and delivery)
  • Answering direct telephone inquiries or redirect inquiries to proper individuals
  • Blocking space for small meetings and small internal function and complete banquet event orders accordingly
  • Providing information to the public regarding booking conventions or catering functions
  • Providing administrative support to the Director and Managers within the department
  • Other duties as assigned
Your experience and skills include:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Comfortable being able to handle high amounts of workflow and multi-tasking effectively
  • Hotel/Hospitality Management program an asset
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite programs
  • Sales & Catering experience an asset
