Job Description

We are looking for a grill master to join our team at Banff Trail Riders for our western BBQ cookouts.This position is ideal for someone who wants to escape the typical kitchen environment to work in a smaller team, outdoors and at a slower pace.This position will require you to:

  • Prepare buffet style meals and use a BBQ to grill steaks for guests for our twice daily cookouts.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and guest areas.
  • Aiding in receiving and inventory of GFS.
  • Interact with guests in a fun professional manner.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years cooking experience.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work well with others and independently.
  • An interest in the western lifestyle.
  • Valid first aid, Drivers License and Pro Serve.
  • Must to fully immunized against Covid-19

  • 10 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Banff, AB T0L 1A1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
  • cooking: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
