Job Description

We’re looking for an Executive Chef to join us at Bluebird! Bluebird Restaurant & Lobby Bar is a contemporary take on charming mid-century chalets, expansive mountain ranges, and cozy fireside getaways. Bluebird will be a premier place to unwind after a day in the Banff wilderness. The venue will play off rich alpine culture and the primal instinct to seek shelter, fire, and socialize after a bluebird day. Want to know more Check us out here: https://www.banffcollective.com/bluebird-restaurantExecutive ChefThe Executive Chef contributes to the success of the company by participating in the management of the daily operations of the restaurant, including the management of all employees in conjunction with the General Manager. In addition, they manage inventory and supplies, optimize profits, and ensure that guests have an experience that lives up to the company values. They work closely with the service team and participate in decisions with the executive team.We Love Perks! This Position Includes:

What You’ll Do:
  • If it’s happening in the kitchen, you are a part of it! Planning, executing, elevating - you do it all
  • You dont shy away from working with various types of technology and systems, including the ability to troubleshoot, update, and train others on the use of
  • You do what it takes to increase sales and minimize costs without compromising quality
  • As a leader within BHC, you’ll also be an ambassador of our employer brand, always being on the lookout for top talent and assisting with hiring amazing people to join the family, specifically on the kitchen team
What You Have:
  • Proven success in an Executive Chef role with some formal training
  • Flexible schedule required
  • Youre not only an amazing team player but also have a knack for bringing others together to work towards a common goal
  • You have excellent communication skills and understand the importance of effective communication and workplace culture
