Job Description

We’re looking for an Executive Chef to join us at The Maple Leaf! Located on Banff Avenue’s busiest corner, The Maple Leaf is an iconic downtown landmark serving brunch, lunch & dinner daily. We feature Canadian cuisine including Alberta beef & game, fresh fish and west coast seafood. Our chef sources the highest quality ingredients and compliments these with classic Canadian flavours paired with an extensive Canadian wine list. Want to know more Check us out here: banffcollective.com/maple-leafExecutive ChefThe Executive Chef contributes to the success of the company by participating in the management of the daily operations of the restaurant, including the management of all employees in conjunction with the General Manager. In addition, they manage inventory and supplies, optimize profits, and ensure that guests have an experience that lives up to the company values. They work closely with the service team and participate in decisions with the executive team.We Love Perks! This Position Includes:

What You’ll Do:

  • You dont shy away from working with various types of technology and systems, including the ability to troubleshoot, update, and train others on the use of
  • You do what it takes to increase sales and minimize costs without compromising quality
  • As a leader within BHC, you’ll also be an ambassador of our employer brand, always being on the lookout for top talent and assisting with hiring amazing people to join the family, specifically on the kitchen team
What You Have:
  • Proven success in an Executive Chef role with some formal training
  • Flexible schedule required
  • You dont shy away from working with various types of technology and systems
  • You have excellent communication skills and understand the importance of effective communication and workplace culture
