The Golf Course Guest Service Attendant will be responsible to provide engaging service to our guests throughout their golf experience at Banff Springs Golf Course.What is in it for you:Subsidized staff accommodation provided on-site for full time statusDuty meal in our Bean on the Green staff cafeteriaEmployee Travel ProgramComprehensive Wellness Platform (LifeWorks)Discounts on food & beverage/fitness centre/spa/golfOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within Fairmont Banff Springs and over 5,000 properties with AccorWhat you will be doing:Be the personality who greets and guides the guest upon their arriving experience at the golf courseCommunicate to each guest an orientation of the facility, such as the pro shop, dining room, snack bar, driving range, and practice facilityHandle equipment and provide instructions for check in and pre round preparations, provide guests with rental equipment and power carts as required.Be accountable to the rental fleets programs ensuring each set of clubs and golf cart are in proper working order, clean and complete prior to guest usage and are properly signed in/out.Deliver a world-class departure experience by providing the required level of engagement in addition to cleaning and carrying equipment from the power cart to the guest’s desired locationAssist in the preparation for golf tournaments, execution and tear downOther duties as assignedYour experience and skills include:Previous customer service experience an assetCPGA designation and knowledge of golf game and etiquette an assetMust have Class 5 driver’s license and driver’s abstract in good standingConstant standing and walking throughout shiftMust be able to lift and carry up to 50+ lbs.
