The Banff Park Lodge has two sister properties: The Bow View Lodge and the Peaks Hotel & Suites.We are currently seeking a full-time permanent House Person/Overnight Pool Cleaner, required to work afternoon and overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays. The wage will be negotiated based on experience. The House Person shift hours is usually 3:30PM to 11:00PM and the Overnight Pool Cleaner shift hours are usually 11:00PM to 7:00AM. This hybrid role is fitting for someone who wants to explore the outdoors during the day!Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment of all the public spaces throughout the property

• Sweep, mop and wash floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, distribute clean towels and toiletries

• Stock linen closet, clean and disinfect public bathrooms and fixtures, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies

• Provide basic information on facilities; pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls and ceilings

• Clean all corridors, pool change rooms, public spaces and empty garbage/recycling bins

• Scrub the pool area floors using sponges, soap and chemicals

• Clean and disinfect drainpipes to make-certain that no clogs are apparent

• Empty, replace, or repair pool traps and filters

• Assist the Laundry Department, including washing and folding pillowcases, napkins and cleaning rags

Ideal Candidate:

• NSPF Certification, not required but beneficial

• Is a capable multi-tasker with a keen attention to detail

• Has a professional, yet friendly, personality and demeanor

• Has excellent English skills and can follow direction

• Must be physically fit

• Reliable and can commit to at least 6-12 months of employment

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time

• Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds

• Must follow grooming standards

• Experience is an asset
