Job Description

We at Banff International Hostel are looking for a new team member to join us adventuring in the mountains. For us, the ideal applicant would be someone who is lively, responsible, outgoing with a can do attitude that can work alone or together in a team!Responsibilities for Housekeeping

  • Making beds
  • Cleaning bathrooms
  • Dusting and vacuuming
  • Cleaning common areas (kitchen, common room, dining area, reception)
  • Laundry duties
  • General upkeep and cleanness of our beautiful hostel
Responsibilities for Maintenance
  • Basic electrical work (ex: changing light fixture)
  • Basic plumbing (ex: replace a toilet)
  • Basic carpentry (ex: fixing holes and cracks)
  • Painting
  • Upkeep of hostel grounds (snow/ice removal)
  • General labour work
Experience is an asset.Staff accommodation possible for the right candidate.Canadian Citizens/permanent residents and those with valid working visas ONLY. If you are looking for sponsorship or to obtain a visa your application will be rejected.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $17.00-$22.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
