In winter we are the home of Great Canadian Heli-Skiing, when again we have the privilege of delivering endless Best Day Evers to our guests and staff alike!Position: Housekeeping SupervisorWorking with the Best Day Ever Group as the Housekeeping Supervisor at Heather Mountain Lodge you can expect to focus on providing excellent customer service as well as helping to create an upscale atmosphere for our Summer Vacation/Wedding guests, and our winter Heli-Ski guests alike. You will help lead a successful team in making not just fantastic first impressions with guests, but creating lasting impressions, and building long term relationships with guests and staff alike.Primary Purpose: Heather Mountain Lodge needs to look great, inside and out. The Housekeeping Supervisor supports the goals of Heather Mountain Lodge ensuring standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness are maintained throughout Heather Mountain Lodge and to lead a housekeeping team to maintain cleanliness standards and safety.Reports to: Operations Manager

• Work with the housekeeping team to ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness in all of our guest rooms, cabins, and throughout the lodge, and staff accommodations.
• Lead the daily cleaning of assigned tasks (rooms/cabins, bathrooms, corridor areas and public areas) while working alongside our staff to ensure the high standards of cleanliness.
• Follow/lead the schedule of tasks to be completed on a daily basis due lodge needs set by the Lodging Manager.
• Continuously seek and make improvements to the overall housekeeping functions.
• Serve as overall quality control for housekeeping functions and housekeeping staff.
• Ensure all staff performing housekeeping functions are properly trained in technique, quality, efficiency and safety.
• Maintain supply levels, orderly supply closets, housekeeping vehicle, & housekeeping room along with the other housekeeping staff.
• Fill out supply, work-order, and housing forms.
• Deep cleaning of buildings during slow times and as needed.
• Special projects as outlined by the Lodging Manager.
• Attend staff training sessions and meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

• Support the core values of the organization.
• Personal maturity, sound judgment, motivation, and integrity.
• Supervisory Experience preferred.
• Desire and willingness to work as a team within Housekeeping and other departments.
• Able to operate housekeeping equipment.
• Able to safely handle and use cleaning chemicals.
• Minimum of high school diploma.
• Attention to Detail
• Strong English speaking skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and repetitive physically demanding tasks, standing for long periods of time, bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching.
• Available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Starting Wage: $20 per hour (Negotiable based on Experience)Plus: Equal Share of Tip PoolPlus: Full time accommodations (7 days a week) during regular operating seasons.Plus: 3 Meals per Day (7 days a week) provided during regular operating seasons.We look forward to hearing from you!Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: From $20.00 per hourSchedule:
