Do you have strong leadership skills Do your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more If so, the Kitchen Dishwashing (Stewarding) Supervisor may be the perfect position balancing responsibilities for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and order for all of the kitchens, dish areas and related backspaces for our dining outlets and leading a team.What is in it for you:Subsidized staff accommodation provided on-site for full time statusDuty meal in our newly renovated staff cafeteriaCompetitive extended benefits package including medical, vision and dental for full time permanent statusEmployee Travel ProgramComprehensive Wellness Platform (LifeWorks)Discounts on food & beverage/fitness centre/spa/golfOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within Fairmont Banff Springs and over 5,000 properties with AccorWhat you will be doing:Ability to work a variety of shifts as this is a 24 hour operational departmentLead, teach, coach and inspire the team of Stewarding Attendants, Sanitation & Recycling Attendants, Night Cleaners, and Outlet StockersComplete and review all Kitchen and Banquet Set-ups and ensure that they are completed accurately and on timePreform quarterly inventory of china, glassware, silverware, and report variances and discrepanciesCreate and input weekly schedule on excel, Watson, and Time Enterprise platformsUphold the highest level of hygiene and sanitation regulations, ensuring that all equipment in the kitchens and dishwashing areas are clean and in good working orderOrdering cleaning suppliesInput work orders on items needing repairAudit colleagues to follow and adhere to ALLSAFE health and safety protocolsWhen required, drive the 1-ton delivery van to ensure food and supplies are delivered to the correct location in a timely fashionAll other duties as assignedYour experience and skills include:Previous leadership experience in Stewarding field requiredProven organizational and coaching skillsClass 5 Driver’s License, with a comfort level driving a company vehicle of up to 1-tonUpdated drivers abstractComputer literate in Microsoft Window applications word, excel, power pointStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesPhysical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):Standing, walking throughout shift; Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbsOccasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, ascending or descending ladders, stairsYour team and working environment:Fast-paced, upscale, luxury hotelClose proximity to multiple ski resortsHospitality employees worldwide making this a great place to develop lifelong connectionsVisa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
