Job Description

  • Have complete knowledge of the Primrose Restaurant food and beverage menus
  • Provide table service from start to finish including taking food and beverage orders, delivering orders, and taking payment
  • Enter food and beverage items into Micros POS system
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout each shift
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction and a harmonious work environment
  • Follow Health and Safety program and procedures
  • Other related duties as assigned
Physical Demands
  • Constant standing and walking
  • Occasional reaching above shoulder height
  • Frequent reaching below shoulder height
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 11 pounds / 5 kg
  • Occasional lifting up to 22 pounds / 10 kg
  • Occasional exposure to hot, damp, environments
Qualifications
  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Alberta ProServe Certification
  • 2 years of experience serving in an a la carte restaurant
  • Knowledgeable in a variety of wines and spirits
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to competently prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Cash handling skills
