OverviewWe are looking for an organized Sales & Event Coordinator ready to assist in product knowledge sessions, administration, product promotion and other tasks as they arise. This role will report to the Sales Manager, Affiliates and is seasonal, with a start date of May 9 and end date of September 2. Starting wage: $19/hrResponsibilitiesAssist the Affiliate Sales Manager in all client requests in Bow Valley, Jasper & Calgary areas with excellent client service.Support visits to affiliate partners and leading product knowledge sessions,Administration tasks as outlined:Preparation of cheques, bi-weekly visits and any orders related tasks to the affiliate program.Input of data into Delphi and other systems as required.Promoting Banff Jasper Collection products at affiliate locations and select regional events (ex: affiliate appreciation events, Canada Day, Pursuit local’s days)Provide occasional on-site assistance with Group Event Management (GEM) programs and special events including set up and advancing of group functions and events, overseeing flow of event and tear down as required.Assist with coordination of familiarization tours and site inspections.QualificationsEnergetic, enthusiastic, quick learner who sells their passion for the company and its productsA high level of customer service and experience in guest servicesAny sales experience (an asset)Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with the ability to see multiple projects and tasks through to completion on a timely basisComfortable speaking in public and to groups of various sizes on similar product topics.Ability to work a flexible schedule as timing for event support can varyAlberta Class 5 driving license (manual transmission)Ability to drive long hours unaccompanied, with a good sense of direction.Detail-oriented, with strong administration and organization skillsPhysical working environment with walking and stair climbing and standing requiredComputer literate, comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite of products in a Windows environment.Quick Apply
