What will be your daily pursuit:ensuring maximum guest satisfaction on-board the Sightseeing toursWhat perks can you expect:Work in a dynamic, culturally diverse team from around the globeSeasonal work experience in an iconic, unforgettable, and inspiring locationFast-paced and active position – get your step counter ready!The chance to work in an inclusive culture and make life-long friendsOpportunities for career growth or future work at other Pursuit locationsAccess to one of the world’s most beautiful and iconic National ParksWhat will you do in this job:Working with the Driver, the Hsot Guide (HG) coordinates providing refreshments, Pursuit attractions and servicesEscorting and providing limited commentary to the guests when leaving the busMeet and greet guests at place of tour originAssist driver with luggage storage and handlingResponsible for on-board refreshments stock control; garbage and recycling disposalProvide informative answers about Pursuit and its attractionsProvide on-board refreshments to all guests; regularly check on guests throughout the tour to meet their needsCommunicate via phone or radio to attractions, places of interest to inform them on estimated time of arrivalCoordinate with the Bus Director on passenger manifests, missed shows, bus breakdowns, etcEnsure that each customer interaction is friendly, courteous, and professionalRepresent Pursuit professionally in all communications relating to clients/guests, suppliers, products and co-workersDirect all clients and guests to the appropriate locationsResolve customer service problems by tracing source, then finding and recommending alternativesFollow up all problems with the goal of preventing a recurrenceRelay appropriate problems to supervisor with potential solutionsMaintain current and accurate knowledge of all of Explore Rockies products and websiteKeep up to date with changes to computer systems or any communication systemsMaintain professional conduct and appearance at all timesFoster a friendly environment and keep the Activity Centre and other Brewster property clean and organizedUphold the “Always Honest” valuesWhat skills and experience do you need for this job:An active interest in the Canadian RockiesPossesses organizational skillsAble to communicate fluently in EnglishSecondary language skills are an assetStrong customer service skills and attention to detailPrevious sales experience in a similar positionMature and possess a proven ability or desire to work effectively in a fast-paced team environmentCash handling experienceHandle heavy luggageFlexible and able to work shiftsThank you for your interest in working with us, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.What will your work environment be like:This fun, summer job runs from April to October, 2021Beautiful.
