Job Description

Banff Trail Riders is located in the townsite of Banff, offering guided horseback tours from 1 hour to 6 days. We are a very active tourist business with several components that make up the overall company. Because of the diversity of the company, we can offer a great variety of products to our visitors, as well as a variety of job opportunities.Whether you are craving a summer of adventure, are looking to improve your horsemanship skills or a combination of both while making life long friends and memories, Banff Trail Riders is the place for you!This position will require you to:

  • Greet and check in guests at stables.
  • Make bookings and provide information on tours.
  • Handle cash/credit transactions. Completing Pre-Authorizations.
  • Ensure ride departure times are kept to schedule.
  • Completing daily cash outs.
  • Cleaning and upkeep of office and guest areas.
  • General barn chores and duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Customer service experience.
  • Previous cash handling experience.
  • Valid First Aid required.
  • Knowledge of horses an asset, but not required. Riding experience not required. (Must be confident and comfortable around horses)
  • Must be fully immunized against Covid-19
This position is ideal for those with minimal riding experience who would like to further their knowledge of horses and riding. Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Banff, AB T0L 1A1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
  • First Aid Certification (preferred)
