What will you do in this job:
  • Partner with the Talent Manager in external and internal recruitment processes
  • Post jobs on company career portal, post-secondary job boards, newspapers, etc.
  • Key administrator in the company’s applicant tracking system (iCIMS), including supporting and training Hiring Managers in their use of the system
  • Screen resumes, conduct in person and video interviews and filter candidates for open positions
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes.
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events
  • Track completion of on-boarding and hiring process
  • Assist in the overall services of all aspects of Human Resources to ensure we are offering hospitality services to all of our current and potential employees
  • Submit and track candidate background checks
  • Opportunity to learn about all aspects of a busy People and Culture office
What skills and experience do you need for this job:
  • University or College education
  • People/Human Resources experience an asset
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven abilities to organize and perform well in a very busy work environment with competing priorities
  • Clear commitment to continuous improvement and growth and hiring the best
  • Highly computer literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-Mail and experience using HRIS
  • Able to work professionally with confidential information
  • Energetic, creative, professional, a self-starter with a commitment to follow through
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships and foster cooperation
