Job Description

As the Tour Dining Coordinator, all components of Tour Dining are managed by you! Developing a strong knowledge of contracted Food and Beverage details and executing them for each of our Tour Guests. The Tour Dining Coordinator will build dining blocks, arrange group dinners and organize group activities. Maintaining a close relationship with Sales, Tours, Food & Beverage and outside Tour Companies is key to ensuring our guests have a memorable stay.Covid-19 Safety Policy: In order to keep our employees and the general public safe from the threat of Covid 19 and the rise of variants in the community, the Hotel has implemented a Covid-19 Safety Policy.What is in it for you:

What you will be doing:
  • Reporting to the Food & Beverage Sales Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
  • Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly service
  • Coordinate with Sales, Tours, F&B and individual Tour Companies to facilitate all F&B requirements of Tour Guests, including dining blocks, group dinners and receptions
  • Develop relationships with wholesale companies and Tour Directors
  • Knowledge of the hotel and the contractual agreements with our Tour Wholesalers
  • Assist with special F&B events (Christmas, Easter, Mother’s Day) throughout the year
  • Participate in at least one hotel committee (e.g. Health & Safety Committee)
  • In the absence of the F&B Sales coordinator, assist with group reservations and F&B Forecasting
  • All other duties as assigned
Your experience and skills include:
  • Previous experience in food and beverage an asset
  • Previous experience in a large hotel for Front Desk, Reservations, and or with tours
  • Flexible schedule
  • Excellent telephone/email etiquette
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self motivated/pro-active
  • Team player
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment with constant changing deadlines
  • Able to work on multiple tasks with high priority at the same time
  • Knowledge of Property Manager, Sales & Catering, OpenTable and Microsoft Office are an asset
  • Ability to stand or sit for an 8 hour shift
