We also provide the necessary tools to complete your duties – laptop, mobile phone, vehicle allowance, and the flexibility to work in our sales office and remotely.Responsibilities and Duties

  • Identify new business opportunities, market trends and competitors.
  • Build and grow relations within portfolio through customer engagement and proactive communication.
  • Proactively identify customer pain points and propose results-oriented solutions.
  • Monitor opportunities utilizing CRM, executing all steps of the sales process.
  • Manage customer expectations through the creation and utilization of SOPs, KPIs and other account specific metrics.
  • Partner with Management and the Operations Department to build programs and solutions to present to customers.
  • Provide ongoing reporting and analysis to ensure targets and goals are on track and meeting Sales KPIs.
  • Attend industry events to enhance sales and marketing efforts.

Professional & Educational Background
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience within the Transportation and Logistics industry.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and tactics including cold-calling, networking, lead generation, all with the ability to capture and close the deal.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial and bold attitude paired with a confident personality.
  • Analytical and superior problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage detail on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to persuade, motivate and influence others.
  • A deep understanding of the Transportation and Logistics industry, competition and trends within the market.

  • Communication: Has good listening skills and communicates effectively in both written and verbal formats.
  • Negotiation: Can influence and persuade through positive communication when dealing with customers.
