Job Description

Job DescriptionAECOM is currently seeking candidates for the Archaeology Field Technician IV position, which will be based out of multiple offices across Ontario.Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting Stages 2-4 archaeological field work under the guidance of a field supervisor.
  • Identifying and recovering Indigenous and Euro-Canadian artifacts as directed by the site supervisor.
  • Prioritizing Health and Safety protocols and adhering to all AECOM procedures.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Ontario for extended periods.
  • Assuming a junior leadership role during field operations.
  • Supporting the Field Supervisor with technical aspects of field work.
  • Assisting in the training of new team members.
  • Leading your teammates by example and taking responsibility for additional tasks assigned by field supervisors or management.
