  • Process and resolve disputes related to invoice processing in various systems by working with vendor and internal teams, follow-up on outstanding items to resolution.
  • Detailed statement analysis, resolve payment issues including debit balances, respond to inquiries from internal and external sources in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform month-end closing duties including adjusting and accrual journal entries, general ledger account reconciliations and investigate and resolve any variances identified.
  • Support and/or conduct weekly payment runs by working on daily balancing, deals processing, processing vendor returns.
  • Support Purchase Order creation and receipt process.
  • Facilitate deals and credit processing by pulling various reports, sharing with vendors and internal teams and follow-up on credit notes and approved deals to input in system.
  • Provide input/suggestions for continuous improvement of processes and procedures to add value and efficiency.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Follow published policies related to health and safety rules specific to the workplace as provided by senior management. Promote health and safety within the workplace. Report any potential problems or unsafe situations to supervisors and/or senior management.
Skills and Abilities
  • Incumbent must have a sound knowledge of accounts payable processing, SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) legislation and controls
  • Ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines and competing priorities is crucial.
  • Must possess strong problem solving skills and willingness to learn and improve the process.
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication
  • Must be comfortable with and have complete understanding of account reconciliations and accrual procedures.
  • Strong computer skills a must, including intermediate to advance Microsoft Excel.
  • 2 or 3-yr college/university degree or equivalent
