Job Description

Home Care Assistance, Barrie Simcoe County is a Staffing Solution Company. We are searching for a community support worker to help support the needs of a senior living in the community. Our minimum shifts are 4 hours with a strong focus on continuity of care.Your typical day:

  • Assist with one-on-one support for elderly clients
  • Keep clients engaged and safe
  • Assist at mealtimes
  • All other tasks required by the care plan
  • A passion for the job in helping others

  • Companionship and friendship
Must haves:
  • Access to reliable transportation G License and valid insurance (is an asset)
  • Demonstrated working experience with the elderly, knowledgeable with respect to their needs
  • Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in dealing with residents, families, and visitors
  • All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Police Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Proof of valid Covid19 vaccines, including a booster shot
