Job Description

This position is for someone who is a real go getter and can do the job with minimal supervision. Day shifts only, be done your work day by 3:30! The position can lead to a key holder position for the right candidate. The right candidate always has the best interests of the customer in mind when preparing the meal.duties include

  • Set up line stations and collect all necessary supplies to prepare for service
  • Prepare a variety of foods as per menu specifications
  • Cover, date and correctly store all food prep items
  • Notify Owner in advance of likely shortages
  • Serve menu items compliant with franchise standards
  • Use food preparation tools in accordance with franchise recipe manual
  • Close the kitchen correctly and follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations
  • Chop vegetables and fruits to franchise specifications
  • Prepare meat for cooking by slicing and cutting appropriately
  • Prepare ingredients as instructed
  • Clean kitchen counters and other work areas
  • Wash dishes and cooking utensils
  • Place washed dishware and flatware on drying racks
  • Stack dishes properly on the line
  • Sweep kitchen floor and take trash out
  • Maintain a prepared and sanitary work area throughout the shift
  • Ensure flat tops, stove top, walk-in cooler and freezers are clean and ready for use
  • Make sure all storage areas are tidy and all products are stored appropriately
  • Constantly use safe and hygienic food handling practices

  • Culinary: 1 year (preferred)
  • cooking: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
