We are on a mission to build a new sustainable local food system that enables people to eat fresh, healthy foods and support local farmers and small businesses.About the roleWe are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, hardworking team player to help lead our packing and delivery operations on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. You will work together with a small but mighty team to plan, prepare and execute the fulfillment of our weekly orders.About youOur ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced environment, has incredible attention to detail and has experience with leading and managing teams of 5 to 10 people. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and can-do mentality that excels at working in both a team and independent setting.Role & Responsibilities- Coordinate incoming inventory- Prepare inventory for packing operations- Prepare route packages (print, sort and update order invoices)- Lead order packing operations- Lead delivery driver support operations- Lead customer service on delivery days- Hire and train new team members- Work closely with management to improve fulfillment operationsRequirements- Excellent attention to detail- Positive can-do mentality- Excel in a fast-paced work environment- Must be able to work well independently and lead a team of 4-7 people- Proficient with email, Microsoft word and excel- Proficient in learning new software tools and using technology- Being able to lift 10-40lbs repeatedly over the course of a day- Be a creative, collaborative team member excited about improving the packing operations and customer experience- Previous experience in leading and managing small teams is an asset- Previous experience in order fulfillment is an asset- Previous experience in working with produce and fresh food products is an asset.- Previous experience with customer service is an asset.- An interest in cooking, eating healthy and supporting local is an asset.Position DetailsPart-Time Position: Tuesday 9 a.m. to - 5 p.m., Wednesday 7 a.m. to -4 p.m., Thursday 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. (may need to stay late on occasion to receive orders)Start Date: Tuesday, September 27thPay: $18 to $23 per hourPosition might also be called: Operations Coordinator, Operations Supervisor, Team LeadJob Type: Part-timeSalary: $18.00-$23.00 per hourBenefits:
