The RVH Project Management Office (PMO) supports project teams to successfully complete projects on time, within scope and within budget. The PMO team also leads continuous quality improvement initiatives and provides project management and quality improvement coaching and training to Team RVH.Reporting to the Director, Quality Improvement and Project Management, the Project Management Lead will provide project management leadership, expertise and training to assist project teams in achieving success using recognized project management standards and best practices.As the Project Management Lead, you are responsible for the successful development and implementation of projects and initiatives, leading team resources from across the organization to ensure project objectives are delivered on-time and on-budget according to defined scope, timeline, and cost parameters. The Project Management Lead plans, schedules and controls all project activities toward these objectives, applying technical, theoretical, and managerial skills to satisfy project requirements, while forming and guiding project teams for success and building positive professional relationships with stakeholders. As the Project Management Lead, you will lead multiple projects simultaneously, requiring solid leadership, efficient planning and effective prioritization skills.As the Project Management Lead, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team. Working within an established Project Management Office, the Project Management Lead role supports a combination of Information Technology, Capital Development and Operational Improvement projects. RVH is a regional health centre and therefore, projects regularly involve partner hospitals and other healthcare agencies. Access to reliable transportation for travel to partner sites may be required. During critical project implementation periods, the ability to work off-hours and/or non-business hours may be required.
