Job Description

Merry Maids of Barrie and ServiceMaster Clean of Barrie and Orillia are looking for a committed, responsible, organized and outgoing individual to add to our office team as a quality assurance representative.

Shifts would generally be Monday to Friday from (9:00 am to 5:00 pm, or 10:00 am to 6:00 pm based on business needs).Driver’s license with a clean driving history is required.Job DescriptionGeneral Cleaning (as required)
  • Sweep, mop and wash floors
  • Dust desks, phones and all surface areas.
  • Vacuum carpeting and area rugs.
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen.
  • Clean, disinfect and polish bathrooms.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash & recycling containers
Quality, Customer Service & Sales Support
  • Meet with staff team onsite, perform a thorough walkthrough of all new customer locations with teams.
  • Address customers complaints or concerns where applicable.
  • Address quality concerns with staff, and customers.
  • Provide quick and efficient service recovery practices as required to ensure lasting customer relations.
  • Detailed onsite inspections of customer locations, completed with customer as much as possible.
  • No “cold calling” involved
  • Follow-up on leads, and quotations
  • Accompany sales manager(s) to customer location after awarded sale to do walkthrough with customer contact, and collect any access
  • Coverage for management when required by attending customer locations to do initial walkthroughs, take detailed and accurate notes for quotations to provide for sales managers.
  • Team support, gathering any additional equipment or supplies needed to complete the team’s job.

Education & Experience
  • Secondary School Certificate is an asset.
  • 1-2 years Customer Service experience
  • 1-2 years Sales or Field representative experience
