Our team embodies a spirit of collaboration, and we believe that every member has the potential to contribute to our ongoing success.POSITION OVERVIEW:Under the guidance of the Quality Manager, this role will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing manufacturing processes, creating processes, and implementing within a manufacturing environment. The remaining points are inserted under the duties and responsibilities section.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the filtration bag lab processes, analysis and coordination, to include receiving documentation/bags from the sales/customer representatives, coordinating labour for testing and completing the lab report to be sent back to the sales/customer service representative.
  • Oversee the receiving/incoming product process. Inspect received items as per the PO and specification, document any non-conforming materials and communicate with Purchasing/Manufacturing Manager/QA Manager to create corrective action.
  • Manage the non-conformance reporting (NCR) program for AES. To include investigation, process and procedure updating and the review of product setup within the ERP.
  • Manage the sample bag process, to include working with sales to understand requirements, create a specification sheet to build a sample bag, coordinate the fabricating through the facility and providing final quality product to the sales/customer service for shipping.
  • Oversee the calibration of quality equipment, mechanical plotter / machinery and the full quality process for drawings, auditing, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Manufacturing Analyst on specification review, prior to engineering design release to the production floor. Provide updates and revisions to the Engineering Team so designs and bill of materials (BOM) can be adjusted.
  • Maintains complete knowledge of and complies with company and department policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Maintains client and company confidence by keeping information confidential and secure.
  • Maintains a positive working relationship with team members and management in a team environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Completion of a mechanical technology diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years’ experience coordinating workflow and quality programs within a production facility.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP/MS Office system.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Mechanical aptitude and capabilities.
