Job Description

Centralized Scheduling Clerk is responsible for accurate data entry in time cards and schedules ensuring appropriate pay codes are utilized at all times. Completing schedule adjustments, maintenance of routine schedules, entering master rotations and posting prime time and regular schedules are per the rotational planner in the correct scheduling software. To receive, record, replace and report all short notice notifications of staffing needs for the entire organization. To follow all departmental mandatory standards and work closely with leaders to ensure safe staffing levels.Qualifications:

  • Secondary School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Medical Office Administration Program or Human Resources Certificate Preferred
  • Excellent customer service essential
  • Excellent attendance record essential
Experience:
  • One year experience with scheduling in an acute care setting an asset
  • Working knowledge of scheduling systems, Kronos/ESP preferred
  • All Microsoft applications required
  • Staff scheduling and understanding of unionized collective agreements essential
  • Understanding and implement Human Resource and Payroll policies essential
Responsibilities:
  • Data quality and daily maintenance of all schedules and time cards
  • Accurate pay codes and data entry
  • Posting of prime time specialty and regular schedules, on time, without vacancies
  • Effective and efficient communication essential
