Job Description

The Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery leads the Craft Beer Revolution in Ontario. Brewing radical Beers and creative Ales right on the waterfront in downtown Barrie since 2004.The Warehouse Associate/Shunt Driver is responsible for assisting the warehouse team in sorting/dumping old code, packing 6 packs, packing 4 packs, managing inventory, staging material for pickup, loading and unloading trucks, keeping the warehouse clean. The shunt driver roll requires safe transport of raw materials and finished goods from the warehouse to the brewery or brewery to warehouse, operating forklift, loading/unloading shunt truck. Job Descriptions: Operating forklift, loading and unloading vehicle, keeping accurate records, driving shunt truck (26 straight truck), driving delivery van, assisting with packaging. Requires a G License with a clean driving record.Early mornings, late nights, and/or weekend shifts.Reports To: Warehouse Manager, Manager of Brewery OperationsPosition Responsibilities.- Sorting/Dumping old code product- packing and repacking 6 packs & damage products- Provide raw materials for packaging and brewing teams.- Provide finished goods for taproom and retail.- Maintain cleanliness and perform circle checks on all vehicles daily.- Ensure that product being handled meets standards of quality- Take finished goods to the warehouse from the brewery.- Keep accurate records of all materials and finished goods moved between the warehouse and the brewery.- Assist Warehouse in staging shipments, loading trucks, and unloading trucks as needed.- Follow appropriate SOPs.- - Assure finished product is prepared to be shipped to the warehouse or to retail.- Fill in for other co-workers as needed.-Reflect company core values and cultural attitude.- Assist in developing positive, collaborative working environment.- Miscellaneous and Cleaning - Thorough deep cleaning or special projects may be deemed necessary on an as needed basis- Responsibilities/tasks may be added/shifted as company needs.
