About the role:We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Locums or Relief Pharmacists to join our team. As a Locum or Relief Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in providing temporary coverage for pharmacies in need of staffing support. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications and provide excellent pharmaceutical care to patients.Key responsibilities:

• Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, offering consultation and guidance to patients
• Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, physicians, and other stakeholders as necessary
• Adapt quickly to different pharmacy environments, systems, and procedures.
• Execute processes as per OBWs/SOPs
• Ensure Administrative responsibilities for the store
• Maintaining a professional setting for retail and community outreach
• Maintaining a compassionate environment and supporting patients
• Maintaining and protecting patient confidentiality
• Maintaining a professional and collaborative relationship among health care professionals; responding to requests, building rapport
• Maintain proper documentation and record Keeping
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives
• Perform clinical and drug distribution responsibilities as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor #39;s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid pharmacy license in the province of practice.
• Proven experience as a pharmacist, preferably with previous locum or relief experience.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, drug therapy, and pharmacy operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Proficient in pharmacy management software and computer systems.
• Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and adherence to regulations and protocols.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different pharmacy environments and schedules.
