Job Description

We are Beaumont’s newest center and are looking to hire an enthusiastic and hard-working individual to join our team! We have full & part-time positions in many of our rooms. We are seeking educators who can work between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:45 pm!At Beaumont Montessori Early Learning, our philosophy is based on the Montessori method of teaching and while incorporating the Alberta Flight Curriculum.We are looking for an Experienced Early Childhood Educator for a full-time position working with children ranging in rage from 0 years to 6 years old. Must have a minimum of Level II and preference will be given to Level III educators. Montessori experience an asset but not required.Our goal is to educate, inspire and to provide a warm caring environment for children to grow and develop. We provide the highest quality work environment for our teachers and ensure they have all the resources needed to be successful.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest
  • Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
  • Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff members
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
