Job Description

Job Overview We are currently hiring a Carpenter/Framer to join our construction team in Beausejour, Manitoba (multiple job sites). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in framing, rough carpentry, and working on residential and/or commercial job sites. You must be comfortable reading blueprints, working in varying weather conditions, and collaborating with a team to meet project timelines. Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans
  • Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials for framing walls, floors, roofs, etc.
  • Install windows, doors, and other structural components
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Follow building codes and safety regulations
  • Work at heights and in outdoor conditions
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals (e.g., electricians, plumbers, laborers)
  • Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and durability of completed structures
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a carpenter or framer in residential or commercial construction
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
  • Proficient with carpentry tools and techniques
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to work in different locations across Manitoba
  • Must be punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious
Work Location: Multiple job sites across Manitoba Schedule: Monday to Friday, occasional weekends as needed
