Excellent people management and communication skills are essential to building effective team and organizational relationships. This position reports to the Freshwater Production Manager.Primary duties of this role include but are not limited to:

• Responsibility for the daily operations and production at a Recirculation Water hatchery.
• Meeting quality standards for fish production.
• Foster a culture of safe work and environmental sustainability.

Qualifications/Requirements/Attributes:

• Experience within a hatchery environment.• Possess a strong background in general operation and maintenance of life support equipment.
• Strong background in fish health and husbandry.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Preference will be given to applicants with related post-secondary education and experience.
