Job Description

Product ManagerLocation: Kanata, ONType: Full-TimeCompany Overview: BluWave-ai is a pioneering artificial intelligence company transforming the energy sector. We focus on optimizing renewable energy sources and electric vehicle charging through our advanced grid energy optimization platform. Our products, including EV Everywhere, EV Fleet Orchestrator, and Smart Grid Optimizer, are empowering global clients in their pursuit of a cleaner, sustainable future.Role Overview: We are on the lookout for a dynamic Product Manager who will not only lead our product strategies but also actively engage in sales initiatives. This role is a unique blend of product development, marketing, sales, and leadership responsibilities, making it ideal for individuals who excel in multifaceted positions. This position will play a critical role in driving our product strategy, enhancing our market presence, and ensuring the successful integration of our products into the smart grid and EV ecosystems.Responsibilities:

  1. Product Ownership:
    • Lead the planning, development, and launch of AI-enabled software products focusing on EV fleet management.
    • Collaborate with engineering and UX teams to create product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
    • Define and prioritize product features, balancing customer demands with technical feasibility and business impact.
  2. Sales and Business Development:
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, including fleet operators, utility companies, commercial enterprises, and government agencies.
    • Identify new market opportunities and lead the expansion into new territories.
    • Collaborate with sales teams to develop strategies for pitching products, responding to RFPs, and closing deals.
    • Actively participate in sales calls and meetings to understand client needs and present our solutions effectively.
  3. Sales Team Support:
    • Provide ongoing support and training to the sales team, ensuring they are equipped with up-to-date product knowledge and sales strategies.
    • Collaborate in developing sales materials and presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition of our products.
    • Join the sales team in key client meetings and calls to provide expert insights and help close deals.
  4. Product Marketing:
    • Design and execute go-to-market strategies, including pricing, distribution, and promotional plans.
    • Work closely with marketing teams to develop messaging and positioning that resonate with target audiences.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to inform product marketing strategies.
  5. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Serve as the liaison between sales, marketing, and product development teams.
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure product features and marketing efforts align with sales objectives.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and deliver on key performance indicators.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor #39;s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally in software development, fleet operations, renewable energy, or EV industry.
  • Strong understanding of the smart grid, renewable energy, and EV charging infrastructure.
  • Proven track record in sales, product marketing, and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Authorization to work in Canada.
