Job Description

A subsidiary of Health Association Nova Scotia (HANS), Igility provides innovative solutions to drive business efficiency. One key area of focus is excellence in safe patient handling solutions via our partnership with Guldmann Care-Lift Solutions in Atlantic Canada. We are growing our team to respond to increased demand for these important medical devices within our long-term care and hospital settings across the region. Igility is currently seeking to hire an Account Manager to work with our team on a growing list of active projects.This permanent, full-time position is based in New Brunswick with travel throughout the province and surrounding Atlantic Canada region, including overnight travel which can vary depending on projects.Position Scope

  • Advise and provide education to customers on the usage of Guldmann equipment
  • Liaison with the project/operations team to deliver well executed projects, and customer support
  • Regular sales calls to all health regions, long term care homes and hospitals within the territory.
  • Relationship development at all levels (clinical, management, maintenance, purchasing).
  • Develop territory action plans based on strategic analysis of the various business environments.
  • Prepare detailed proposals reflecting a comprehensive and systematic approach to providing customized solutions.
  • Generate revenue by developing existing markets through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, and closing sales; recommending new products and services.
  • Grow sales and market share within sales territory.
  • Strategic account management for key accounts within territory.
  • Liaison with field service, clinical consulting, marketing, customer service, installation and shipping departments.
Education & Experience
  • University degree in a relevant field of study
  • 3 years minimum sales experience with demonstrated high performance
  • Experience with capital equipment sales, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Strategic selling and account management skills
  • Experience completing RFPs, RFQs and RFIs
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication techniques
  • Up to date product knowledge and market knowledge considered an asset
  • Proven team player
  • Knowledge of principles of accident/injury loss prevention and risk management.
  • Proficient in the use of Windows Office Suite
