This commitment has established Clearwater as a global leader in sustainable seafood excellence.Clearwater Seafoods Global Business Solutions department requires a Business Analyst, Logistics. The position is a Full Time position and will be located in Bedford, Nova Scotia.Purpose of PositionThe purpose of this position is to provide analytical insights and advice on content, processes and procedures related to enterprise applications. The focus of this role will to be to leverage the investment made in SAP in the process area of Logistics by applying functional knowledge to the design and driving process improvement. The Business Analyst, Logistics is a constant seeker of ways to improve process and align the technology. This position also helps to enhance the capability of achieving global objectives by implementing standard processes and leverage best practices. The role is a change agent in the organization where the key driver will be best practices to reduce cost and enhance effectiveness.Reporting Structure

  • This individual will report to the Director, SAP Integration.
Major Responsibilities:
  • Assist in obtaining and documented detailed requirements from business users for approved projects and small enhancements to existing projects. Responsible for creating Business Requirement Documents (BRD) wherever required.
  • Collaborate with other team members in the integration of processes.
  • Drive better forecasting and planning to achieve business predictability.
  • Perform design for moderately complex projects and enhancements.
  • Interface with Business Stakeholders, IT Infrastructure teams, development teams to ensure that business requirements are properly configured and delivered.
  • Assist with unit and Integration testing. Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with the Business Users.
  • Assist/coordinate with training and rollout plans for new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Make recommendations on strategic direction and roadmap for the use and implementation of the SAP applications, as well as integration with third party systems, and making recommendations on what other complementary software may enhance the SAP investment.
  • Assess need for new tools and technology to improve functionality in work areas related to logistics.
  • Well versed with Master Data as it relates to Logistics.
  • Recommend procedures to make operations more efficient and effective.
  • Creates sub-process design and manages integration across other practice areas and applications.
  • Uphold and improve Process Flows documentation and Business Process Procedures (BPPs).
  • Partner with the respective AMS lead and ensures AMS delivers on development commitments.
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting on sub-process KPIs (i.e., Global monitoring of established global SLAs).
  • Responsible for executing functional unit and string testing.

Working ConditionsMay be required to travel to Clearwater locations from time to time with the majority of the work taking place in Head Office.Location: Bedford, NSEnvironment: Hybrid, 2-3 days week in office, remaining days remote.Vaccination Status: Covid-19 vaccination required as per company policy.Schedule: M-FQualifications
  • 5 plus years SAP Logistics experience
  • Able to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Strong technical skills within SAP, Excel, Word and Power Point
