Client Support TechnicianHealth Association Nova Scotia is a not-for-profit, non-government, membership-based association with almost 60 years experience in delivering shared services, policy support and expertise our customers can count on. Serving on 130 organizations from across the province of Nova Scotia, our core-fee-for-service/cost recovery services are Clinical Engineering Services, Labour Relations and Compensation Analysis, Group Benefits Solutions and Shared Financial Services. The Health Association also provides policy support to its continuing care members and is a joint sponsor of the Nova Scotia Health Employees Pension Plan.Duties:The Client Support Technician is a member of the Information Technology (IT) Services team and supports Health Association Nova Scotia (HANS) staff and member clients with information technology (IT) related problems reported to the helpdesk; and provides proactive maintenance of the Associations IT infrastructure. The Technician also works collaboratively with the IT team to find timely, cost effective, and practical solutions to IT related issues that arise.The role exists to support HANs business operations by ensuring IT related services and systems are functioning at a high level of effectiveness and to customers expectations.Qualifications:Successful completion of a recognized post-secondary diploma in IT or related fieldsMCP and/or A+ certification considered an assetMinimum 5 years experience providing client/desktop support in a Microsoft applications/servers enterprise environmentSalary:We offer a competitive salary and benefits, as well as NSHEPP defined pension.
