This commitment has established Clearwater as a global leader in sustainable seafood excellence.Clearwater Seafoods’ Finance department requires a Financial Analyst, Corporate Accounting role based at their Bedford, Nova Scotia Corporate Office. This position is a 15-month maternity leave term position and reports to the Finance Manager, Corporate Accounting.Purpose of Position: This position is responsible to analyze routine information for accuracy and business insight and to generate accounting entries and analysis that require data interpretation or professional judgement.Reporting Structure: This position reports to the Finance Manager, Corporate AccountingMajor Responsibilities1. Review and post accruals and journal entries2. Perform fixed asset and general ledger accounting3. Prepare remittances for EDC, and other government filings4. Reconcile intercompany and goods in transit accounts for all companies5. Prepare working papers supporting the monthly close process and month end balances6.
