Job Description

The Municipal Group of Companies, based in Bedford Nova Scotia, is a large, diversified organization engaged in all major aspects of the heavy civil construction, mining, and environmental services within the Atlantic Provinces. We are currently seeking the expertise of a Fleet Fuel Analyst to join our team from our office based in Bedford, NS.Job Summary: Reporting directly to the Vice President of Supply Chain, the Fleet Fuel Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the effective control of our corporate fuel.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Management of corporate fleet fuel card program
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance to corporate fuel policies
  • Analyzing fuel usage and reporting variances to senior management
  • Daily and monthly fuel Inventory reconciliation and ordering
  • Troubleshoot fuel administration related issues and processes
  • Work closely with fuel carriers to improve processes for fuel movement
  • Conduct special projects as necessary and or requested
  • Design and implement best practices
  • Primary point of contact for fuel card issues
  • Other duties as required
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:
  • Hight attention to detail
  • Auditing or data analysis experience
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with all types of staff, management, and outside parties
  • Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities
  • Experience in Microsoft Power BI or other data analytics software would be considered an asset
  • Post-Secondary degree in related field
