Job Description

We are looking for a Maintenance Personnel/Handyman to join the team!The Maintenance Personnel will report directly to the project manager and will leave the site 100% clean when done. They may be called for odd jobs including but not limited to:

  • Installing cabinets, cupboards
  • Patching walls
  • Drywall repairs and painting
  • Installing door knobs & changing locks
  • Baseboard, doors & casing installation
  • Minor plumbing (changing out washers, taps, toilets, plunging or snaking blockages, etc.)
  • Minor electrical (changing switches, ballasts, etc.)
  • Fence and minor deck repairs and other outside work
  • Tile repair and replacement
  • Repairs and replacement of flooring
  • Caulking
  • Snow removal / grass cutting as applicable
  • Waste management
  • Apartment building systems management as applicable
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time
Job Requirements
  • General aptitude and desire for general handyman related functions.
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Must be able to attend after hour emergencies as/when needed
  • Must have own basic tools. Other job specific tools will be provided.
  • Maintain a neat and safe work-site at all times
  • Good written and verbal skills
  • Trade certification considered an asset but not necessary.
  • Reliable transport, with paid travel to various sites
Job Types: Part-time, CasualSalary: $23.00-$28.00 per hourSchedule:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

  • Handyman: 3 years (required)
