Who are WeTrim Landscaping is a full-service landscaping company that provides commercial and large-scale high-end residential and landscaping services throughout Nova Scotia. We have done many premier maintenance and design-build landscape projects like Argyle and Spring Garden streets, Queen’s Marque and Peggy Cove’s Viewing Deck. We are continually growing and are looking to add a Lead Hand to our team in Bedford, NS.*Who are You*You have experience in landscape or hardscape and are willing to learn from and assist the crew leader. You are very comfortable taking initiative on daily tasks limited direction from your crew leader, but know how to take direction and get the job done. You know how to lay pavers, build retaining walls, grade for sod, plant trees correctly, etc.You are driven individual looking to grow and be a part of moving a business forward. You are trustworthy so that you can take on tasks and projects within your team with limited supervision. You are able to solve problems and willing to make a decision even if it’s a mistake so you can grow and learn. You are willing to work outside of your everyday tasks and do what needs to be done to get the job done.You need to have 1-2 years experience in landscape construction. Knowledge in OH&S requirements for landscape and experience in operating heavy equipment would be considered assets.What will you doDay-to-day you will be working with a crew of 2-3 people completing a variety of projects that could include laying pavers, planting trees, building retaining walls, pouring concrete or constructing a deck throughout Nova Scotia. Direction, oversight and information for projects will be coordinated through a project manager. In the winter, your team may vary based on route with snow removal. You are the right-hand to the crew leader with whatever tasks need completion.*What do we Offer*
