We optimize our advanced acoustic telemetry tools and consulting services to shorten the paths from data collection to conclusion, observation to discovery, and detection to protection.Our Bedford manufacturing facility produces Innovasea marine electronic products used by researchers worldwide in their quest to understand aquatic animal behavior, and innovative environmental monitoring and control products used in the aquaculture industry. Our Operations team contributes to our company’s success through advanced manufacturing methods, teamwork, and a commitment to operational excellence.Role and ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a full-time Procurement Administrator to join our Procurement group, part of our Operations team.Reporting to the Director of Strategic Sourcing, the Procurement Administrator has a key role to ensure smooth operation of all areas of Production. The candidate must exhibit a customer-first attitude with excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and work in a fast-paced setting.Primary areas of responsibility include:

  • Syspro Stockcode and Bill of Material (BOM) entry and other Syspro maintenance as required
  • Movement and stocking of consumable parts and supplies to Production areas including appropriate Syspro transactions
  • All aspects of consumables procurement including obtaining and evaluating quotes, placing purchase orders and supplier follow-up
  • Movement and stocking of kanban inventory to Production areas including appropriate Syspro transactions
  • Assist with procurement of non-inventory material based on requisitions and requirements for MRO items (Maintenance, Repair & Operations).
Required Skills and ExperienceTo excel in this role, the candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years related experience in a manufacturing organization using an integrated ERP system.EducationCandidates are required to have a high school graduation diploma. Completion of a college business course is preferred.
