Job Description

Company descriptionTurbulent Research are experts in underwater acoustics, electromagnetics, and signal processing. We design and manufacture subsea acoustic and electromagnetic equipment for use in ocean science, marine construction, oil and gas and pipeline applications.We are currently looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team!The successful candidate will be working closely with our production and operations team and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Purchasing:

  • Prepares and reviews purchase orders for stock and inventory.
  • Keeps up to date status on purchase orders.
  • Keeps an eye on inventory and make orders as required.
  • Keeps a highly organized schedule.
Inventory:
  • Tracking and maintaining stock for ensuring accurate inventory management.
  • Reconciling any discrepancies in inventory stock.
  • Placing product orders to fulfill inventory needs.
  • Working and collaborating with management to report stock issues.
Required Skills:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent experience and capability
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to assist in shipping/receiving would be considered an asset
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently
