SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER - SAFE PATIENT HANDLINGPermanent/Full TimeAbout us;igility, a subsidiary of Health Association Nova Scotia (HANS), is an organization focused on customized innovation solutions in all aspects of our customers evolving business needs. We collaboratively seek opportunities to deliver greater business efficiency to allow our customers more time to dedicate to core business activities with the goal of extending the reach of budgets and enhancing the quality of care.About the Role:Reporting to the Manager of Operations - The Safe Patient Handling Sales Account Manager is a vital role in the development of our Safe Patient Handling business line. The primary focus of this role is to sell and promote Safe Patient Handling products and services to new and existing customers across the sector.Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow existing client base through selling of safe patient handling products within the healthcare sector.
  • Complete proper evaluations to ensure appropriate recommendations for equipment that will best serve the clients specific needs.
  • Maintains knowledge of products, services, techniques, and clinical skills pertaining to safe patient handling.
  • Responsible for ensuring proper and timely delivery of equipment to clients.
  • Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers.
  • Conduct sales calls in person and through virtual meetings (Teams, Zoom, etc.).
  • Provide trials and in-service of products to current and potential customers.
  • Maintain customer information within CRM tool.
  • Supplies necessary information to operate the overall business effectively by completing all required reports accurately, completely and in a timely fashion.
  • Works with internal and external contractors to ensure smooth installation of safe patient handling.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
  • At least 3 years medical sales or similar experience selling direct into the healthcare sector.
  • A growth mindset: a belief that you are in control of your own ability and can learn and improve your personal and professional outcomes.
  • A proven sales record and ability to meet quotas coupled with a strong desire to succeed with the ability to work collaboratively with both customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to perform in-person sales calls, working in the field at hospitals and facilities to demonstrate and deliver products.
  • An obvious passion for exceeding your customers expectations.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, planning and analytical skills underpinned by personal accountability, drive, and initiative.
  • A high level of empathy and sensitivity to seniors and persons with disabilities living in a variety of health settings.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office and Knowledge and previous use of customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • A problem solver by nature with expertise in innovating new ways to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Creativity in generating new leads.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and network to ensure the continued growth of our business.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills and ability to relate to people and build trust easily.
  • Some who thrives in a team environment, working with internal and external teams to drive business and satisfy our customers.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant program (business, sales, marketing, etc.).
  • 3-5 years of experience in business-to-business medical sales and/or Rehabilitation industry .
  • A valid drivers license as travel to sites will be required.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
