Job Description

Mill-Right Woodworking Inc. has provided custom commercial woodwork for important clients in retail, hospitality and corporate sectors throughout the Atlantic Provinces since 1999.We are currently looking for a professional Warehouse Shipper, Receiver & Delivery Driver to join our growing team in Bedford, NS. The ideal candidate has strong communication, interpersonal and time-management skills, is able to work well independently and able to work the hours needed to get the job done. In addition, the individual will have at least 1 year experience in making deliveries. Must have a valid driver’s license and have or be willing to obtain forklift license.Mill-Right Woodworking Inc. offers a competitive salary, a group benefits plan, a registered pension plan with matching program, an incredible work environment, and career advancement opportunities.Responsibilities:

  • Deliver materials and millwork to assigned project sites to meet scheduled timelines as directed by the Production Manager.
  • Pick up materials as scheduled.
  • Load trucks with care and consideration of potential damages.
  • Ensure that all relevant paperwork accompanies the delivery. Inspect shipments to verify that no items are missing and labels and location information has been included.
  • Accurately fill out packing slips and label products that are shipped or received.
  • Organize all incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Operate and maintain the forklift.
  • Evening and weekend work required as necessary.
  • Travel around Atlantic Provinces as required.
  • Assist with cabinet assembly and installation as required.
