Accountabilities will include close partnership and collaboration with the Network Cloud, Bell Real Estate Services, Expertech, Technology and Field Operations teams, and vendors, for optimized delivery of power and space.Job Duties/Accountabilities:Plan, design, capacity manage network power and building space infrastructureTime and size installation of power network elements such as rectifiers, batteries, inverters, power plants to support growth and strategic deployment of Bell’s Network Cloud, Core, Access and Switch networksLife cycle manage power network elements mentioned aboveProvide support and critical information required to design AC power network, UPS and HVAC infrastructure in Network Cloud DCs and COsFinancial management of projects to ensure cost effective and just in time provisioning, on time and on budget deliveryPrepare business case to secure funding based on network investment directives, risk management, installation and reliability standards and applicable codes and sound business rationalesParticipate/lead continuous process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costMaintain and upgrade technical expertise to meet the fast changing industry requirementQualifications/Competencies:Post secondary degree in Engineering (Electrical) is preferredKnowledge of Telecom OSS and protocolsAbility to work independently and in team environment (strong team player)Strong communication skills (written and spoken)Solid working knowledge of power, building, supporting infrastructure provisioningProficient in MS Office suite (especially in Excel, Word and PowerPoint)Working Knowledge of and ability to interpret various applicable building, electrical, fire codesWorking knowledge of Telcordia installation standards related to Telecom power, buildings and associated equipmentWorking knowledge of SAP PS ModuleBudget management, PEATS system and financial toolsWorking knowledge of Agile and Lean fundamentals and visual management tools are considered as valuable competenciesValid driver’s licence with clean abstract for occasional day travels#LI-SM1Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.Additional Information:Position Type: ManagementJob Status: Regular - Full TimeJob Location: Canada : Nova Scotia : BedfordApplication Deadline: 06/16/2021Please apply directly online to be considered for this role.
