Duties and Responsibilities:ï‚· Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of our rug retail store.ï‚· Manage staff and assign duties.ï‚· Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential salesvolumes, and effect of competitors operations on sales.ï‚· Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies.ï‚· Source and negotiate with vendors when necessary to procure merchandise for resale.ï‚· Develop and implement marketing strategies.ï‚· Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues.ï‚· Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues.ï‚· Address staffing requirements, including the hiring, development, and retention of staff.Skills and Qualification:ï‚· A university degree in business administration, commerce, marketing, education, or economics is preferred.ï‚· Three years of related retail sales experience at increasing levels of responsibility is required.About the CompanyTabrizi Rugs Retail Store is one of the largest and most reputable rugs stores in AtlanticCanada.
