Job Description

The Municipal Group of Companies, based in Bedford Nova Scotia, is a large, diversified organization engaged in all major aspects of the heavy civil construction, mining, and environmental services within the Atlantic Provinces. We are currently seeking the expertise of a Truckers Payable Clerk to join our team from our office based in Bedford, NS.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Entering detailed information from Scalehouse weight tickets, and hourly rental equipment and truck slips
  • Filing weight tickets and safety paperwork
  • Ensuring completeness and accuracy of data entry
  • Preparation of reports
  • Updating spreadsheets
  • Perform other duties as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:
  • 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Willingness to work individually and in a team environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills and solid work ethic
  • High attention to detail
  • Reliable
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suites
  • Working knowledge with Event preferred, but not required.
