Job Description

Job DescriptionAt our marine terminal, you #39;ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing mobile conveyors, our fleet of trailers and mobile docks, and our lifting equipment. You #39;ll benefit from quality supervision and work alongside our experienced heavy equipment mechanics on a variety of jobs.Main responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair machinery and equipment such as wheel loaders, clamshells and mobile conveyors;
  • Assemble and disassemble mobile conveyor installations in ship loading and unloading operations;
  • Diagnose machinery operating problems;
  • Start up equipment in compliance with safety and environmental standards;
  • All other related tasks.
What it takes to succeed: You #39;re a dynamic person who cares about a job well done! Proactivity and involvement are words that define you You also have :
  • Professional training in industrial mechanics, construction equipment mechanics, or any other relevant combination of training;
  • 2 to 5 years #39; relevant experience in the field (material handling, heavy equipment operation);
  • Welding skills (asset);
  • Basic computer skills (e-mail and use of maintenance software);
  • Ability to communicate and work as part of a team.
  • Availability for occasional evening and weekend work.
