Job Description

M3C is looking for a consultant in Business system analyst ERP/QA analyst/UAT (ID618) for a 12-months contract (renewable) in Toronto. The person must have experience in JD Edwards ERP systems (must have knowledge of : inventory, maintenance, warehouse, finances, payroll, etc.). The mandate is hybrid so the person must work at the office in Toronto a few times a week and remotely from home.**Must be an incorporated consultant in Canada.****Pour les francophones : À noter que ce mandat peut être effectué à partir du Québec mais que la personne sera attribuée à d’autres projets qui ont sensiblement les mêmes responsabilités et exigences énumérées ci-dessous.**The responsibilities of the Test Coordinator/QA Analyst/UAT are:

  • Analyze Requirements: Understand, analyze, and verify specific and testable application requirements;
  • Plan and prepare tests;
  • Document results, identify and record defects;
  • Track and manage defects: Monitor and manage defects, ensure their resolution by assisting users;
  • Re-test and validate patches: Perform re-tests to verify defect fixes and validate functionality;
  • Reporting and Documentation: Create detailed reports, maintain complete documentation and test records;
  • Maintain Communication: Work closely with development teams, end users, project managers, and other stakeholders to support a collaborative environment, foster communication, and promote a culture of quality throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Support the management team in its decision-making process (as required);
  • Any other tasks required by the nature of his expertise and skills.
RequirementsThe requirements are:
  • 10+ years of experience in quality assurance;
  • 5+ years of experience as an ERP system functional analyst or business analyst;
  • Understand user acceptance testing (UAT) and will be able to guide the company through testing;
  • Ability to work in Agile/Scrum methodology (provide tangible results every 3 weeks);
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards ERP system and implementation;
  • Experience with Finances and Maintenance module (Understand the terminology and main maintenance processes: Asset Management Maintenance / Equipment Maintenance / Preventive Maintenance / Work Order Management), as well as WMS (Warehouse) and Inventory;
  • Ability to work at a fast pace (average project duration is less than 6 months) and have a good understanding of risk-based testing;
  • Openness to working in an environment where QA is in practice development;
  • Proficient with Excel;
  • Asset : Knowledge of the qTest tool;
  • Excellent communication skills in English (bilingualism in French and English is an asset);
  • Able to travel occasionally or when needed.
